3.- Meteorology

Potatoes destined for the main European markets are harvested early and are some of the earliest produce in Europe. This is made possible because of our farmers' wide experience in controlling frost, our main climatological problem. A network of agroweather stations, providing information on five key variables, has been installed by the society in order to facilitate the best management of weather conditions. With this information, supported by the latest computer technology, we can optimise our agronomic systems.
